The Philippine Independence

The proclamation of the independence of the Philippines from the grasp of the Spanish colony occurred on June 12, 1898. It was proclaimed in Cavite and was done through the announcement in public of the Act of declaration independence. On that day Emilio Aguinaldo and his revolutionary forces was given the sovereignty of the country.
The Declaration of Independence by Philippines was not an easy task for the Filipinos. It was a 3 year revolution which began in the year 1896. In those times the Spanish had sealed an agreement with the supporters of the revolution to send Emilio Aguinaldo to Hong Kong as an exile. But the Spanish-American war broke out where the Asiatic Squadron which belonged to the US NAVY sailed to Manila Bay from Hongkong. The fleet was led by Commodore George Dewey. Eventually, they defeated the Spanish through the help of the United States. The victory was declared on May 1, 1898 after the Battle of Manila Bay has decided the defeat of the Spanish colonizers. On the same month Emilio Aguinaldo returned to Philippines escorted by the U.S. Navy.
The Proclamation ceremony occurred in the afternoon and at the familial house of the Aguinaldo family. Their house was located 30km South from Manila. In the ceremony the Philippine flag was spread out. The national flag was originally made from Hong Kong. The unfurling of the flag was then followed by the Marcha Filipina Magdalo being performed. It became the national anthem of the country and is now called Lupang Hinirang. San Francisco de Malabon was the name of the marching band which performed the anthem. It was all written by Julian Felipe.
Meanwhile, it was Ambrosio Rianzares Bautista who wrote, prepared and read the Act of the Declaration of Independence. He composed it and read it all in Spanish. About a hundred people signed the Declaration as witnesses to the proclamation. One of them was an American officer who also observed the ceremony. But later on the declaration was modified. Apolinario Mabini insisted upon it and was acted upon by the Malolos congress. They objected for the Philippines to be held under the influence of the United States in return for protection.
Unfortunately the proclamation had to go through rough times. It was not recognized by the U.S. and Spain. But at the defeat of the Spanish to the Americans, Philippines was yielded to the US as part of the 1898 Treaty of Paris. As a retaliation, the treaty was not recognized by the Philippine Revolutionary Government. This resulted in what is known as the Philippine-American war. But the Philippines lost to the U.S. This happened when the U.S. forces captured Emilio Aguinaldo. Aguinaldo was persuaded then to sign and agree to hand over the sovereignty of the country. On July 2, 1902 it was telegraphed by Elihu Root, U.S. Secretary of War, that all provincial governments were successfully established all over the Philippines. He added that the only exception were those places occupied by the tribes of the Moros. They have been resisting the U.S. forces for a number of years.
The National Library of Philippines currently houses the Declaration. Just like any other document in the said library, the Declaration requires permission for it to be seen by viewers. It is a series of declarations of independence which consists also of the United Statse Declaration of Independence.

Japan’s stronghold in the Philippines was vital to the defense of their Southeast Asian flank. Because of this it was where they concentrated their forces which resulted in the most severe period of the Imperial’s invasion in World War II of the Philippines-the Battle of Bataan.  It is also written down in history as the largest surrender of the United States since the US Civil War.     On the 7th of December 1941 the same day that Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japan, U.S Philippine headquarters, naval and base camps in Zambales, Manila, Pampanga and Cavite were pounded by aircrafts based in Taiwan. The scattered remnants of the American forces tried to fight back in a struggle to seize airfields in Luzon to stop the Japanese air forces from landing but to no avail. They have also attacked Japanese ships bordered in Luzon. Nevertheless it did not delay the Japanese invasion. The Japanese Army increased their dominance when they neutralized the US bases in Philippines. They have gained for themselves air and naval fields taken from the US army for them to use and empower their invasion.     When the Japanese gained their supremacy in the air and naval bases, they started their massive assault on the US army’s line of defense on the shores called the beachheads. The beachheads were pushed back by the invaders. As General MacArthur realized that their strategy has failed he resorted to what they called the War Plan Orange-3 wherein the main goal is to focus on the defense of Bataan and Corregidor, the central plain in the island of Luzon. They were to retreat in a delaying manner towards Bataan and regroup there with all their forces and fight Japanese invaders for 6 months assuming that after that time relief and back up would get there from the United States. They were hopeful that by delaying the Japanese invasion by regrouping in Bataan it will distort the plans of the Japanese Imperial army and also give the United States ample time to prepare their Fleet with power and arrive at Bataan to the rescue. Little did they know that the US Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor was already crippled.      On December 22, 1941, the Philippine Army troops who were defending the beaches of Luzon were defeated. And in order to deceive their advancing enemies on the exact location of their major defense positions in the Bataan peninsula, the Americans placed one line of defense in Layac to fight and delay their enemies. It was where the Japanese and American soldiers met for the first time in WWII. The battles focused on delaying the Japanese army in order for MacArthur’s men to withdraw towards the Batan defense base went on from January 1-5, 1942.      The Japanese Imperial Army persisted in their advancement towards Bataan and Corregidor for three months resulting in four major battles written in history.  The first of these battles was called The Stand. The stand was mainly the battle of the defense of the Americans and Filipinos of the Abucay-Mauban line. It is composed of two defensive lines located across the Bataan peninsula. The Mauban line was located on the western side and the Abucay on the eastern. The Stand was a battle of night raids, hand to hand combats and infiltrations between Japan and the Philippine-American Army. The fight started on January 9 and ended on January 22, 1942 resulting in the defeat and abandonment of the Abucay-Mauban Line.     The second battle was a brief one. It is called the Battle of Trail 2. It has happened 4days after The Stand. Trail 2 was the line of defense hastily organized by General Bluemel which was successful in preventing the withdrawing US and Filipino from a major wipeout by the Japanese troops. The Japanese in their pursuit has found a gap to attack the withdrawing army with but was repelled in time by the trail2 line of defense.     The third Battle was called the Battle of Pockets after the intentions of the Japanese army to pocket their areas of defense. After the battle of Trail2 Japanese troops managed still to get through using other routes and gaps in the withdrawing army.  The battle was marked by Capt. Santos, 1st Division’s actions which outsmarted and countered the strategies of the Japanese troops. He was nicknamed the “hero of pockets” for this and was promoted as major. The battle lasted from January 23 to February 22. On February 8, General Homma tried to order his men to stop their offensive operations seeing that they were getting closer to defeat but it was too late because most of the other divisions were already in contact with their enemies. The battle resulted in the USAFFE’s re-occupation of most positions that were taken from them by the Japanese Imperial Army. The Japanese had not yet been defeated but it was their turn to withdraw their forces.     Meanwhile, on the west side of the Southern coast of Bataan, Japanese troops and USAFFE met on a battle known as the Battle of Points. The fighting lasted from January 23 to February 13, 1942. It was a remarkable battle because of the 2000 Japanese troops deployed there, only 43 made it alive and wounded. In that battle sailors were ordered to make noises and wear colorful uniforms in order to tempt the Japanese troops to shoot at them. This strategy revealed the hiding positions of the Japanese in the trees where the USAFFE army attacked them.     General MacArthur with family and staff officers left Corregidor on March 12 , 1942. He went to Mindanao and from there flew to Australia where he made his famous promise “ I Shall Return” to the Filipinos. Because of this, the USAFFE changed its name to USFIP( US Forces in the Philippines) commanded by Lt.Gen. Wainwright IV.     The second attack of the Japanese Imperial Army on Bataan then began. With the intention of completely destroying the American strongholds, Japanese General Headquarters sent more troops, aircrafts and artilleries. With only the capture of Bataan as their campaign, the Japanese forces arrived and backed the forces of General Homma. They aimed straight for Bataan and charged the defense lines of Americans and Filipinos ranks after ranks. This final assault bombarded the USFIP bases, neutralized I Corps and II Corps and destroyed communications between the commanders of the Bataan base and their lines of Defense. On April 6, the main defense of Bataan has collapsed and refugees started filling all roads. Some soldiers were even seen fleeing along with them. April 8 then marked the end of resistance for the commander on Bataan, Gen. King. He proposed for capitulation and on April 9, 1942 he met and negotiated with Maj. Gen. Kameichiro Nagano which lasted for hours and ended in the announcement of the surrender of the weary and embattled alliance of the Americans and the Filipinos thus, marking the Falling of Bataan in history.     The Allied forces then, with no more strength to fight back were forcibly ordered by the Japanese Imperial Army on the famous Death March to transfer them from Bataan to Camp O'Donnell and be locked as prisoners of war. Approximately 75,000 soldiers marched on foot the 128km distance resulting in the death of about 10,000 soldiers. Besides that, what makes the Battle of Bataan famous is the amazing teamwork and camaraderie which the Americans and Filipinos applied in their battle against the Japanese army.
Water: The one element planet Earth has that sets it apart from all the other planets in our system. This is also the reason why only our planet is able to sustain life, its surface covered with 71 percent water. The human body itself is roughly made up of 60% water; essentially more than half of our being is H2O, which is why it is so vital for us to keep hydrated. A person can survive up to a proverbial 40 days without food, but would be a goner in a week’s time without water.      The question is how much water is enough on a daily basis? Most people have grown up using the 8x8 rule, or in layman’s term, drinking eight (ounce) glasses of water per day, which would be half a gallon or about 2 liters. The funny thing is there’s not much evidence to back this myth up except it’s just easy to remember. In reality, you have to note that the actual amount depends on a lot of factors like age, weight, gender, how physically active you are, the weather, etc.     Studies have shown that the average adult male will need 3.7 liters of fluids per day, while females need 2.7 liters. Children and teens would be: 1 liter (5 glasses) for 5-8 year olds, 1.5 liters (7 glasses) for 9-12 year olds, and 2 liters (8 to 10 glasses) for 13+ years.      Another good question to ask is how can you tell if you’re drinking enough water? Simple: check your urine. If you’re not drinking enough, your urine will look yellowish or have an orange color. The best indication is when it has a clear or pale yellow color. Soft bowel movements are a good sign too.     Note that you don’t really have to wait feeling thirsty to drink. Your body is constantly using up water and thirst is your body’s way of telling you that you’re becoming dehydrated. The good thing is all forms of fluid you take in counts. This includes milk, juice, tea, and even coffee, though water is still the best. Fruits and vegetables are a great source too. That said, don’t drink while you’re taking a meal or munching on snacks. It can be tempting but doing so may cause bloating and indigestion, as the water will counteract with the digesting enzymes your body is producing. The best time to drink would be 15-30 minutes prior or after a meal.     No matter how busy you get, don’t ever forget to refill, no matter what the means. Keep a water bottle handy to remind you. Never underestimate a simple glass of water to charge up for the whole day. A healthier you is a better you.
The Baclayon Church is considered to be one of the oldest churches in the Philippines. It is also one of the most preserved Jesuit churches in the country. It stands today with the same materials that it was made of since the beginning except for a few additions of modern façade and stone buildings. Square blocks cut from coral stones make up most of the figure of the church. The native laborers carried them from the sea using bamboo. They then used this bamboo to carry the corals and piled it on top of each other. They also used egg whites as cement to hold the blocks together.     Spanish priests Juan de Torres and Gabriel Sanchez first came into Baclayon in 1595 from Cebu City. Their people erected a visita immediately after their arrival. This is because the priests realized that there was no decent place to celebrate the Mass. The church in the beginning of its construction was made from bamboo. But because of their Moro enemies, the building has to be stopped. They moved their headquarters to Loboc and the construction of the church was commenced only in 1717. The building of the church was then completed in 1727. In 1835 the large bell was installed in the building.     Inside the church are green gilded altars. During the 18th century their versions of Baroque were very popular. The interior of the church also displays a retablo. This retablo shows the images of the saints of Recollect devotion. But still it is traced back to the Jesuits because the motto “ Ad majorem Dei gloriam” is surmounted in the main altar. The builders of the church also carved two benches in the nave on low relief. Also, the painting of Ascension could be found in that nave along with that of Church Fathers and San Vicente Ferrer.      The church is filled with valuable relics from the 19th century. A pipe organ which is now in bad shape still remains to be seen inside. Even the designs of the choir and organ loft are cut with decorations of the past. The stucco finish painting though of the church contrasts the style of the interior. The church also has a jail behind it where people were punished for violating the Catholic rules.      Outside and near the church is an old convent. It has a small museum inside it which contains antiques that date back to the 16th century. These collections include important figures such as the ivory statue of Christ, the statue of Blessed Virgin, relics of St. Ignatius and paintings by the Filipino painter Gatchalian.     The trend of churches containing museums that kept lots of important relics to the Christian faith started in Baclayon. It has been declared as National Historic Treasure because of its superb preservation making it the second oldest church in the Philippines. Aside from its age, the structure and design being a product of the Spanish Colonial architecture projects a fascinating view. Thousands of visitors and tourists visit the church every year because of its rich historical background and relics.
Although there are no official statements yet from globe telecom about them putting an end to their free Facebook promo on mobile data, people seemed to figure out quickly. When this promo started, people got the chance to enjoy using Facebook without spending anything for it. It is in all honesty free for its users. However who is actually funding this free subscription promo and why are they stopping it all of a sudden?     In 2013, globe launched its free Facebook for mobile data users. This was their best move considering that a growing number of users were already using smartphones rather than desktops or laptops. They wanted to be part of the convenience of having everything on your mobile device. And it was indeed a success because they were able to reach 140% of revenue growth a year after they launched the promo. They have even mentioned that free Facebook under globe telecom will forever stay as long as it gives them stable revenue.     But who is actually funding this promo? According to globe telecom, they are paying for the total cost of the bandwidth consumed by the free Facebook users. Although it may seemed like they are giving it for free, they were convinced that they are still making profit out of it. This could happen since a user will be charged right away once he or she goes out of the app by clicking a certain link.      The number of smartphone users at this moment is still increasing, but why is it that globe decided to retract its free Facebook promo, when more users would mean more growth in their revenue? Although they claimed that they are alone paying for the bandwidth of their users, this seems to be different in other network providers in different countries who decided to team up with the owner of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg. It is actually the owner of Facebook himself who shoulders the cost of the bandwidth in order to provide free access for its users and in return gain more number of users and more profit for his team.      Almost all websites that you can find in the internet rely on advertisers for monetary gain. If you have been fond of watching videos in Facebook you will notice ads being inserted in the middle of some videos, this is actually how Facebook makes money. But with globe’s free Facebook promo, you can barely view a picture and how much more for a video? The only thing that works on free Facebook is its messenger, but unlike the Facebook app, it does not contain ads.
The Philippine Eagle is an eagle which belongs to the family Acciptridae. This family is known to be prevalent in Philippine forests. The Eagle has also been called the Monkey-eating Eagle. The Eagle has a world record in terms of length as being the largest. But in terms of weight and bulk, the Harpy and Steller’s Sea Eagle is larger. It was declared by the country as the Philippine national bird due to its power and it being one of the rarest in the world. The bird though is currently and critically endangered because of the deforestation of its habitat. Killing the Philippine Eagle is considered an act of crime in the country and is punishable with 12 years in jail and fines.     The appearance of the Philippine Eagle resembles that of a bird with a lion’s mane. This is due to its brown long feathers forming a shaggy crest on its nape. Its image is also similar to that of a mythical griffin. The bird has a brown crown and a dark face. Underneath its wings the color is white, but the dark brown is the main color of its back. Its legs are yellow in color and had a large size with mighty and dark claws. The beak of the bird is high-arched and bluish gray similar to the color of its eyes.     The Philippine Eagle is 2-3ft 4inches long which has made it the longest extant of eagles. The largest of the in the Philippines is 3ft 8inches in size though it was not considered as a representative to the wild Eagles due to the differences in food intake. This one was found in the Field Museum of Natural History provided with more food than other Philippine Eagles. According to comparisons made on the sexes of these birds, it is said that the male is 10% tinier than the female eagle. One characteristic of the Philippine Eagle is its loud and high-pitched whistles.     It was John Whitehead with his servant Juan was the person who discovered the bird in 1896. The Philippine Eagle was initially called the monkey-eating eagle due to the reports of natives in Samar claiming the bird to prey only on monkeys. It was from these reports that its Greek name was established as “pithecus phagus” or “eater of monkey”. The name was changed to the Philippine Eagle after confirmations that the eagle did feed on other animals. The bird has other names too in the Philippines. It has been named as “haring ibon”, “haribon” and “agila”.     The Agila is considered to be endemic in the Philippines specifically in places such as Mindanao, Leyte, Samar and Luzon. There are 82 up to 233 breeding pairs found in Mindanao while only 6 of them can be found in Samara. Two breeding pairs reside in Leyte and some in Luzon. In forests, the eagle can be found only in very high areas of mountains ranging to over 2,000 meters.      The Philippine Eagle is by nature a monogamous bird. It takes 2 years for its breeding to be completed. When it has found its mate it will stay together their whole lives.

Losing weight, especially in this day and age, can be pretty hard. And with millennials today so used to instant-everything, long-term goals like weight-loss can be aggravating to achieve. That's why a lot of people nowadays resort to slimming pills, thinking that it’s the easier and simpler way to weight-loss. Others take them because their doctor prescribed it to them, maybe due to obesity-related health problems, or that they're allergic to certain foods and unable to go on a diet, or maybe even have a heart problem rendering them incapable of doing any exercise regimes. That’s what these pills are intended for. To help people who are physically unable to become healthy weight-wise. But for people who are capable.     I hope you’ll reconsider gobbling up that next pill after you read this. The risks in taking non-prescribed medication could range from uncomfortable to downright dangerous:     1.    Old habits die hard. Striving for long-term goals like weight loss are life-changing and can lead you to good eating habits, well-needed practice of exercise, and in turn, a healthier lifestyle. It’s not easy but it’ll be worth it in the long run. Pills are made for quick-fixes but just that. They’re temporary. They’re not meant to be sustainable and when stopped, you’ll just go back to square one.       2.    You’re just shedding water weight. Not actual fat loss. Notice how when you take diet pills, you tend to go to the bathroom more often? You’re not flushing out fat. It’s just water weight, since most slimming pills are a combination of diuretics and caffeine.     3.    Dehydration Now that I’ve mentioned how these pills only flush out water, the bad thing is, not only will that water weight eventually just return back but you could actually be in danger of dehydration.     4.    You could be at risk of a heart attack. Studies have shown that people taking certain popular diet pills have put themselves at much greater odds for stroke compared to their non-partaking counterparts. You see, most of these drugs’ main ingredients are stimulants (phenylpropanolamine or PPA for one), which can be seen in prescription level drugs.       5.    Mood swings Get ready to swing… mood swing that is. Some pills have been sold as appetite suppressants. These work as stimulant drugs; they help curb your appetite by increasing certain chemicals (like adrenaline) in your brain, the ones that control your desire for food. You’ll feel more easily satiated and are not likely to overeat. Good for people suffering from obesity, but other than that, it’s not such a good idea. The elements affecting your appetite are also responsible for a lot of other things. Tampering with them may cause insomnia, anxiety, irritability, heart rate, etc. hence the mood swings.     6.    You can get addicted. As I’ve mentioned earlier, some pills have stimulants as their core component. Stimulant drugs, like amphetamine, can lead to psychological dependence if abused. Watch out for yourselves or your loved ones taking these; see if they’re becoming obsessive with their weight and taking medication more than they should.     There’s no magic bullet, or in this case, pill, to instant weight loss. Better to just stick with the classics, to what’s proven and tested: some good-old fashioned reduced-calorie high-fiber diet and a carefully planned exercise routine. Sure, it’s not instantaneous, but the journey will be well-worth it.
It’s almost next to impossible nowadays to be truly healthy, let alone, lose weight and be healthy at the same time. With fast food joints popping up everywhere, eat-and-run meals sadly seem to be discouraging people to take the time to cook a healthy meal, and also inadvertently encouraging obesity by giving customers the tempting option of upsizing their meals for lesser the price.     Not only that, people are crazy over these fad/crash diets, even if at the expense of their health, so long as they lose weight fast. But fret not! There’s still hope. You can be both healthy and lose weight. The key is really just having a healthy active lifestyle. Here are 4 things to consider if you want to lose weight healthily:     1.    Eat breakfast.  Don’t trick yourself into thinking that skipping the first meal of your day will lessen your overall weight in the long run. It’s not called breakfast for nothing, darlings. It’s not only the first; it’s actually THE most important meal of the day. Why? Because you’re essentially breaking the overnight fast, the time your body was asleep. In doing so, you wake up your body and give it the necessary jolt for the day. Missing breakfast will actually make you hungry throughout the whole day whereas eating properly will minimize those pangs until the day finishes. So don’t be afraid. Also, don’t eat sweets and junk food. Eat healthy. A well balanced breakfast of protein, fiber and good carbs will give your health much wealth.     2.    Don’t do fad or crash diets. photo by yourecards Fad diets are the type of diet where you’re promised to lose weight quickly without any hassle and exercise. They’re usually popular; the reason for this is because a lot of celebrities endorse this kind of diets and could be just a marketing strategy for a company’s new product/s. Some examples of this diet are high-protein diets, liquid diets, grapefruit diets, and others. The thing with fad diets is that it may seem quick and easy but it may actually endanger your health as it can lead you to unhealthy and unbalanced routines.     Crash diets also offer you quick weight loss results in a short amount of time. But unlike fad diets, crash diets are extreme to the point of nutrient deprivation and restriction of particular foods, especially your calorie intake. To point simply, quick weight loss programs, whether fad or crash types, won’t give you long-term results but can lead you to an unwholesome lifestyle. Bear in mind, if a diet seems too good to be true, it usually is.       3.    Drink water first before a meal. Research has shown that drinking water at the right time of the day can greatly maximize its effects on your body? 1-2 glasses of water 30 minutes or an hour before a meal can help you get better digestion and cause your stomach to absorb nutrients better. The added H2O can also make you feel fuller, thus lessening your food intake. Not only that, choosing to drink water, instead of those so-called empty-calorie beverages will be beneficial to your health. Say goodbye to rough and dry skin! Also, did you know drinking water can energize your day? More than drinking those energy drinks, water is still the best and original drink that could help empower your body.     4.    Find the perfect exercise and diet that will match you and your health. Proper exercise and proper food go hand in hand towards the road to healthy weight loss. These are the common mistake that people make: some exercise too much but eat too little. Others want to skip the exercise and just focus on eating right. However, you can’t have one without the other. Also, what works for one person may not be good for another. It’s important to know your limits; finding the right method may take a while. Be committed, experiment with different exercise regimes and diets until you find the one that fits your lifestyle.     Here are some easy hacks to trick your body into eating healthy and still lose a couple of pounds:     a.    Do not lead yourself into temptation but deliver yourself from “evil”. In this case, JUNKFOODS. Don’t stock up food in the fridge that will easily lure into an eating binge.     b.    Use smaller plates OR when you place the food, get only smaller portions. You can easily get a second helping if you want. But most of us only eat and finish what we usually place on our plates the first time.     c.    Have moral support. Having someone encourage you to be a better you would mean a lot.     d.    Get plenty of sleep. Not getting enough sleep will automatically rouse your body to eating more than usual to keep you energized for the day.     e.    Don’t eat because you’re bored! Comfort eating is okay every now and then but watch out that this doesn’t become a habit. Here are some ideas to avoid emotional eating:     •    Get in touch with some friends or family when you need to talk things out. Don’t you dare touch that fridge.     •    Calm down by taking a long soothing bath or doing meditation.     •    Try taking a nap or go on a brisk walk while listening to energizing music.     f.    Eat small portions of healthy food (5 times at least, instead of only the 3 major meals. Try these:     •    Potato chips (yes! These are okay actually)     •    Peanut butter     •    Hard-boiled egg     •    Raisins     •    Tangerines     •    Popcorn     •    Frozen yogurt     •    Fresh avocado     •    Chestnuts     •    Fresh fruit salad
Safety and security are two of the most important things that you need to put into consideration if you are about to make a decision that requires your identity and personal details. Majority of the people nowadays have social media account. An average person even has two or three social media accounts from different sites or apps. This is now how things are done. People communicate more in social media rather than in person. It is quite convenient because you can stay connected to all of your friends without leaving your place or home.      However this convenience may also risk your own security if you fail to secure your identity and leave your privacy settings in public. It is important that you know how to change and secure your personal details on social media because you might just be a victim of identity theft. Since it’s now very much easy to let people know about yourself and the things you do, others might just take advantage of it without you noticing it. There are individuals who would want to fish on details about yourself such as your complete name.      Although using your complete name in any account that you use, allows your friends to recognize you easier, you are also giving the bad guys the chance to make use of it. By just having your complete name they can create fake accounts and do unlawful business while using your name. These guys will not be held liable on possible crimes that they do because they hide under our name. Although you are truly innocent, still you need to present or submit yourself to authorities. This could be very stressful for anyone and for sure nobody wants to experience such ordeal.      It is indeed flattering to have hundreds of followers but this could only happen if you set your privacy settings into public. By choosing to have a public profile you are putting your identity in a great risk. Does an unknown follower really matter? It is better to have few friends on your list as long as you know all of them and you don’t have to worry about your privacy. The things you share in your social media account are all personal, so why share it to someone you barely know?
It is very important to lose weight if you think you are already out from the normal body mass index. It should be the primary reason in losing weight rather than for aesthetic purposes. People should be more concern of health rather than the physical appearance because a beautiful body is useless if it’s an unhealthy one. A body can be beautiful and at the same time healthy it should be the goal. These two things should come hand in hand to promote a healthy and a positive lifestyle.      There are hundreds of ways to lose weight. In fact it is one of the most discussed or searched topic in the internet.  One of which is through dieting. Dieting doesn’t mean you have to starve yourself and forget about having meals for the entire day. That is not dieting, that is actually suicide. Dieting means you have to cut off some of the unhealthy foods that you eat so that you can lose weight effectively. You are still allowed to eat but the list is now restricted and it take discipline for it to happen.     Sugar is one of the biggest culprit of obesity, diabetes, hypertension and other types of lifestyle diseases that are now slowly killing people. How can you say no to sugar when it is the sweetest thing on earth, literally and figuratively? Although it may appear really difficult it can actually give you great results.     Did you know that the amount of calories that a single bar of chocolate contains is already equivalent to two cups of rice or a large slice of meat? This is the main reason why you can easily gain weight and become fat if you don’t eliminate sugar from your diet. Although it comes in small sizes, but the calories it contain are much bigger than your usual meal. Aside from this, sugar also impairs the receptors in your body that are responsible in giving signals to your brain that you are already full. This is the reason why you don’t feel satisfied at all after eating several bars of chocolates and you would even want more.     Sugars are not limited to chocolates alone, donuts, cakes, ice creams, soft drinks, and many more are still part of the list. Sugar is a small but terrible compound that has the ability to transform your body into something you wouldn’t really want to be.      If you are not yet convinced, you better watch this video below.
